At Florida Plywoods, we offer hardwood plywood built for quality, reliability, and value. Our panels are available with a variety of face and back veneer species, including Maple, Birch, Cherry, and Oak, so you can match the look and performance your project requires.
As a cut-to-size manufacturer, we do things differently than most plywood suppliers. Instead of standard 4x8 sheets, we press, saw, sand, and ship each panel to the exact rectangular dimensions you need. You receive ready-to-use panels with a known yield, which means less waste, less handling, and fewer steps in your shop before the panels go into production.
HARDWOOD PLYWOOD
COMPOSITE CORE
Our composite core plywood is built on particleboard manufactured in-house at our facility. Producing our own core gives us direct control over quality and supply, so you can count on consistent panels and dependable lead times.
Our particleboard core is homogeneous in composition and denser than many cores on the market. That added density delivers clean, precise machining, making these panels an excellent choice for kitchen cabinet end panels and other applications where edge quality and core integrity matter.
For MDF core panels, we source MDF from trusted, established suppliers who meet our quality standards.
COMBINATION CORE
Our combination core panels combine a veneer core center with MDF/HDF crossbands, finished with the face veneer of your choice. This construction brings together the best qualities of both materials in a single panel.
The veneer core provides strength, reliable screw-holding power, and lighter weight than a solid MDF core, while the MDF crossbands create a smooth, uniform base that produces an exceptionally flat surface.
VENEER CORE
Our veneer core panels are produced by a mill with whom we have shared a decades-long association. Through them we can source for you your choice of face and back veneers laminated to an all-veneer core. This traditional construction offers excellent strength and stiffness in a lightweight panel.
Panels are available in 4' x 8', 4' x 9', and 4' x 10' sizes, as well as cross-grain counter fronts and cut-to-size options to fit your project's requirements.
CONTRACT CUTTING SERVICES
In addition to manufacturing our panel products, we offer precision cutting services for customers who need panels sawn to specific dimensions. Whether you're working with panels purchased from us or supplied by others, our team is equipped to cut them accurately and efficiently to your specifications.
Once cutting is complete, we prepare your material for shipment. It is carefully packaged to protect it in transit so it arrives ready for use.
